“Two” is the first even prime number, demonstrating divisibility by both one and itself. With two alternatives, choices are made, dilemmas resolved and paths chosen.

This universe of real-time resolution represents the proposal of Bruno Parrinha and João Gato, who propose to create a musical universe in real time with two alto saxophones. The music is fully improvised, focused on instant communication and intense interplay.

In 2024, Parrinha and Gato released “Two” by Phonogram Unit. Currently, they’re working in a sequel album, focused on vibrations of multiphonics and reverberations.
