João Gato (n. 2000) is an alto saxophone player, improviser and tune-maker working in the areas of Jazz, improvised music and interdisciplinary projects with cinema and dance.
Leads/co-leads Apophenia, Trafiklys, Não Confundir com and Parrinha+Gato.
He has played with Peter Evans, Audrey Chen, Kresten Osgood, Axel Dörner, Bart Maris, Margaux Oswald, Isabel Rössler and João Pereira.
João currently lives in Copenhagen.
